Opened on May 13th, 1878
The State Lunatic Hospital at Danvers was erected, under the supervision of prominent Boston architect Nathaniel J, Bradlee, in an extremely remote location.
 



Abandoned since June 24, 1992 Over fourteen structures on the highlands, all have since been demolished.
